Cost is $199 total per lesson, tips are appreciated.

A lesson takes 2 hours total, 15 minutes on the dock going over what we are going to learn today then you drive our boat for the next 1.5 hours then 15 minutes reviewing what you learned. You will be asking me questions about different things you had no time to ask while you were piloting the boat.

Generally it takes 4 lessons to get you to a point where you can take a boat out by yourself and be able to dock a boat well, sometimes more lessons to hone docking skills or run a different type of boat.

I teach in the New River, Downtown Fort Lauderdale and the Intracoastal Waterway so you get the very best scenarios (challenges) lots of current, wind different types of docks like floating and fixed pilings.  I’ll introduce you to cross current, against current, and following current docking and lots of wind for extra fun. The environment is perfect for learning there’s actually nothing I would add to this area we have it all, even a train bridge. Docking Lessons

This is where many “boaters” fail and often in front of a captive audience at that. There is no reason to get any un-defendable ridicule from other boaters. When I’m done teaching you will have complete confidence in your ability to move any boat around near other boats and docks. Remember “Slow is Pro”.
